Ruby is just
about the most perfect foster I have ever had. The only bad habits she has
is counter surfing and digging. Neither one is exhibited to excess, just
when she is bored. She has a very good appetite and is not a picky eater,
thus if food is left within her reach she considers it hers. Also, I have
never seen a dog that loves her crate as much as Ruby does. She asks you to
open the door so she can go inside.
Doug & Sue previously adopted Cindy Lou Who and were looking to provide her
with a playmate. Last night the family, including their two daughters and
Cindy Lou Who, came to pick up Cindys new sister. After the two got
acquainted, they wanted to play.
Sue made the comment before they left, Im not going to look at the web
site for awhile. She didnt want to be tempted to get another addition to
the family.
Update April 2006 - Thought I would just send a quick
note off to tell you how much we are still enjoying the girls. It has been
almost 2 years and we still laugh a lot, when they play. Cyndi Lou Who still
enjoys "fetching" while Ruby loves to play interference with Cyndi and the
ball. The bunnies still tease them every morning and evening while on their
walks. Of course, the Cherry Creek State Bark Park is a favorite
destination. The only thing Ruby dislikes is going to the vet. In fact, when
ever we ask "who wants to go for a ride", Cyndi acts like a big
idiot-barking and jumping all around, while Ruby goes and hides under the
kitchen table. It doesn't matter if we tell her it's the Bark Park and use
the special park leashes, she still gets upset. Imagine trying to pickup 60
lbs of doggie dead weight! The girls are really a big part of our
family-thanks again-Susie
Note: Cyndi Lou Who and
Ruby 2 Shoes live together
