Milo was surrendered into rescue on September 12, 2002,
by a good samaritan who removed him from an abusive owner who used to kick
him and make him cower. Milo is approximately three years old and weighs in
at a hefty 85 pounds. He is totally non-aggressive inspite of the treatment
he has experienced. By his head and ears he looks like he is not 100% Vizsla.
For his size he is one of the sweetest Vizslas, and unbelievably well
behaved when left alone in the house. He hasn't moved, chewed, destroyed
anything. He knows how to sit, but sometimes exercises selective listening
as to whether he will do it. He gets along well with other dogs.

Milo found a
permanent home with his 5th caretaker. He had to go through 4 owners in two
years before finally finding his perfect home. He has a new attitude about
life, and a new name, Bob.

He loves his new name and his
new family. He gets walked twice a day, and can run on a
fenced-in acre with 2
other dogs. He has playmates, humans that love him, fresh air, sunshine,
and peace of mind. He takes great pride in watching over his house, land,
and family. He has mild separation anxiety, but settles well into his crate
when the family is at work and school. He is also learning not to chase two
pet cats. The household took awhile to settle, but three dogs, two cats,
and three humans have found a new daily rhythm.
