Lilly and her sister, Ivy, are 5 yr old purebred, spayed, Vizslas. They were owner-surrendered to a shelter in Pratt, KS. They had been kept in a kennel together with little or no human contact their entire life.

Lilly was underweight, fearful of other dogs and did not know how to play. She tries to jump up on you for security/attention. Scared and very nervous during thunderstorms. Very good with small kids. Patient. Will rollover to have belly rubbed and looked at without a fuss. She is a very loving dog, as are what Vizslas are supposed to be. Under the excellent care & rehabilitation by Polly, she discovered what it was like to be a true Vizsla.

Lilly made the trip to CO via Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue transport to another foster home.

Diane saw pictures of Lilly and heard her story and fell in love with her. She came up to Fort Collins and fell in love with her all over again. - Rita
