Kramer aka Bungee is a ½ yr old neutered purebred male. He was a stray that ended up in a shelter. He has very good manners. He knows sit, stay, come, kennel up and obeys them very well. He walks well on a leash with little to no tugging.   He also loves his off leash runs and comes back when he is called.  He is very food motivated so training him has been relatively easy, there is no rushing the doors or food bowl. He gets along great with other dogs, cats and children (his foster family has a 6, 4 and 2 yr old).   He is crate trained and sleeps there all night with no complaints. 

He has a medium energy level and loves to be with the family.  He loves to ride in the car and if the car door is left open he will jump in and wait for someone to drive him around.  His favorite game hands down is tug-of-war.  He also enjoys a game of fetch and keep away.  He has a soft mouth and will drop whatever is in his mouth when told to drop it.  He settles down nicely when in the house, is very affectionate and loves to snuggle.  Given the chance he will sneak into your lap one paw at a time. 

Kramer aka Bungee was adopted by Kristyn and her family in March 2006. Kristyn saw Bungee’s picture on line and fell in love with him. And with the help of the UT rescue coordinator Kristyn was approved as a forever home for Bungee. Kristyn has experience with rescues, they already had rescued Maggie from TX. Maggie had issues and they gave her a lot of patience and love. Kristyn got the ok from us and drove from UT to CO with her 3 children to pick up Bungee. She then turned right around and drove back home, at least a 14 to 15 hour drive.

In Kristyn’s own words, he is a “big goofball and sweet”. The family decided to change his name to Kramer. So now Kramer has a new family with 3 children to play with and a step-sister, Maggie. According to Kristyn, Kramer is teaching Maggie self-confidence and she is teaching him manners. Another happy beginning (not en ending). - Rita
