Ruby 090100A (Scooby Doo)- Ruby is about 36lbs and very active. She loves to watch and chase things on T.V. She is very eager to please and likes to be around her family. Ruby loves to snuggle. She would prefer a home where she has another dog companion (preferably her size or larger) or a human for her disposal during the day.

On September 14, 2000 Ruby was adopted by Staci who works at a dude ranch in Red Feather Lakes, CO. Staci renamed her ‘Scooby Doo’ since it sounds so much like Ruby. Scooby is enjoying life on as the star at ‘her’ dude ranch. She is enjoying riding the trails with Staci and is great around the horses. Staci says Scooby "has made herself a permanent part of the ranch and all our hearts."

Emma 090100B – Emma is about 37 lbs. On September 15, 2001, Emma was adopted by John & Donna who live in Aurora, CO. Donna fell in love with her while she was attending Doggy Day Camp with her foster care giver. Donna works at the Doggy Day Camp, so Emma gets to go with her. She has also met Lazer, another of our success stories. In fact she lives just across the street from Lazer, so she gets to play with him a lot.

Bathing isn’t her favorite activity but she tolerates it. She is a typical sweet vizsla and full of energy and curiosity and is always looking for a new adventure. She likes people and is sweet, cuddly, soft, gentle, and affectionate. She loves chasing rabbits. She is fast, but hasn’t caught one yet! Emma does jump up on people to greet them and likes to nibble on chins. She growls when frightened or uncertain and howls when she is unhappy.

Emma is doing great at her new home. She is working through her problems with aggression and improving!
