Ella was a casualty of her owner’s lost employment and brand new baby. They
were having to relocate out of state and could not afford the keep Ella.
Ella is a 15 month old purebred female who seemed to have some kind of
mysterious illness. Upon further investigation, vet wise, she was diagnosed
with Pyelonephritis. It is controllable by special diet.
Ella was adopted by a wonderful family that also has a senior Dalmatian who
has diet restrictions. Here is their story on her adoption: Ella fka Carly
is doing great!! My husband and I were amazed at how well she behaved during
the car ride home from KS. We met my mom with our Dalmatian at the dog park
so they could be introduced in some neutral territory and that went well.
She is wonderful with the kids and is pretty well behaved in the house she
has tried to chew a few things, but I have no doubt in time she will
understand what things are hers and what things she can’t chew.
She is such a sweetheart and we are really enjoying her. She has been racing
all over the yard chasing birds and playing with our Dalmatian and having a
good old time. - Heather
