Well, Echo
sure is a fast learner. We get up at around 6:00 to potty and pee. Then back
to the kennel for food and a nap by Vicki before we get up at 7:00 or 7:30.
Echo goes right to his kennel as soon as he does his morning duties and
waits to be fed.
I had noticed he was not eating as much lately. I took him to the vet
yesterday. The vet said with his history and condition of his hair and not
eating, he should be wormed again, this time for other kind of worms. Then a
stool sample in 3 weeks. So, I am giving him some wormer for 3 days in a
row. He did not eat this morning again, so I am glad he is getting wormed
again.
If he is not hungry after 3 days, we will change the food. Quess we will
have to stay on top of this worm stuff.
Now listen to this one. We went walking last night and Echo stepped on some
cactus (Wylie use to do the same thing until he learned what was catus and
where to step). Anyhow, both Dick and I are hold and petting and talking to
Echo while we grap his foot to see where the cactus is. He had 4 little
spikes in his foot....poooooor fellow. Anyhow, Wylie rips around us, takes
one look at Echo's foot and starts to pull the cactus out. We were amazed.
Wylie just reached over and yanked a couple out with this teeth. I am stilll
amazed. It was as if Wylie was saying, OH I know what to do with those.
Wylie does pull them out of his own feet if he happens to step on one.
And yes, Echo still wants to be first when petting. So, I try and give them
both their own massage time. Echo would hang out all day just to have his
massage. and push Wylie away when Wylie has his own time. Something else to
work on.
I clipped Echo's nails the other day. Wow, he is so easy compared to Wylie.
It was not as easy as when you did it. Maybe because he is feeling stronger.
But he did great.
So, have a good weekend. It is nice to have someone to share the Echo
stories with. Thanks. Talk later. Vicki
