Duke fka
Jingle& his siblings were surrendered by his owner due to the state of the
economy. His owner lost his job because the company where he worked closed.
He could not afford to take care of the 8 week old pups and wanted them to
go to good homes so he turned to rescue.
Here is Duke’s story as told by his new family - While we were initially a
little concerned about what Hoops, our resident Vizsla, would think of a new
four-legged friend, from the day we brought Duke fka Jingle home, we knew we
had made the right decision to get a puppy. Hoops' reaction was far better
than we ever imagined and the two of them have been playing with each other
ever since. Duke is a very sweet and calm natured Vizsla, although he does
get the zoomies at least once a day. Duke follows Hoops around constantly
just like a little brother should and is learning from him how everything
works. We have been impressed thus far at his ability to quickly learn his
basic commands, even if his understanding is primarily treat motivated.
Most importantly, Duke is extremely gentle with our four month old son and
we are looking forward to watching them grow-up together as “a boy and his
dog."
We took Hoops and Duke out to my sister’s land today and they loved it. He
truly is a wonderful puppy and we have enjoyed our first month with him
immensely. Thanks to CWVRG for completing our family.
