Dakota came
to us after being kept solely in a backyard. He was not accustomed to being
inside a home, nor did he have much interaction with other dogs. When he
arrived at our daycare facility you would have thought he died and went to
heaven! Dakota absolutely loved his time with all the other dogs, and
especially all the special love and attention he received from the
employees. We learned quickly that he loved to play fetch and go for long
walks. Dakota was a very fast learner and we taught him basic manners in
only a few days, as he was very responsive and eager to please us. When he
wasn’t romping around with other dogs, he was cuddled up either in one of
our laps, or right on our feet! Dakota was adopted by a very dedicated
owner, who takes him on daily jogs and gives him all the love he deserves.
Luckily, we still get to see Dakota as he attends our daycare a few times a
week. - Sara
Dakota
Update: Last August I adopted, Dakota. He has been the best addition to
my family and I love him more than I thought possible. After an initial shy
period he has warmed up to be an energetic dog with a very sweet
personality. We do almost everything together including go on lots of runs -
he runs like a puppy. We went to dog training classes this past fall and he
placed first in the class, despite being an "old dog." His training keeps
him well behaved around the house. Needless to say we are very happy
together! - Gwyn
