Hi! My name is Cyndi Lou Who and I was recently adopted through the Colorado/Wyoming Vizsla Rescue Group. Before my new home, I had bounced around with several different owners, but now I have found my PERMANENT home. My new family has a mom and dad, as well as two human sisters and a hamster (which I find quite interesting).

I am about 2 ½ years old and my family thinks I am quite smart. My favorite hobby is playing fetch, in fact I have about 5 tennis balls stashed around the house and 1BIG pink tennis ball, that I bring out when I want to make an impression. I play fetch as much as I can. I guess you can say that I am obsessed with fetching.

My worst habit (ssh, don’t tell anyone) is counter surfing which I am trying to break. My day begins with breakfast and then I take a walk with Mom. Sometimes I take a long walk in the evening, but that often depends on the weather. The best part about my walks, is the abundance of bunnies. After all, I am a natural hunter!

Although I enjoy my new family very much, they have discovered I am not much of a party animal. I would rather go to my bed than be around a lot of noisy humans. I definitely prefer the quiet. So as you can tell, I have found my home and am quite loved! So thanks again Colorado/Wyoming Vizsla Rescue!

Update April 2006 - Thought I would just send a quick note off to tell you how much we are still enjoying the girls. It has been almost 2 years and we still laugh a lot, when they play. Cyndi Lou Who still enjoys "fetching" while Ruby loves to play interference with Cyndi and the ball. The bunnies still tease them every morning and evening while on their walks. Of course, the Cherry Creek State Bark Park is a favorite destination. The only thing Ruby dislikes is going to the vet. In fact, when ever we ask "who wants to go for a ride", Cyndi acts like a big idiot-barking and jumping all around, while Ruby goes and hides under the kitchen table. It doesn't matter if we tell her it's the Bark Park and use the special park leashes, she still gets upset. Imagine trying to pickup 60 lbs of doggie dead weight! The girls are really a big part of our family-thanks again
