Dear People Friends and Vizsla Buddies,

I wanted to send you all a happy hello and tell you how great my life is with my new family and home. I moved to Superior, CO with my new family. I live in a nice house with a fenced backyard that has lots of rabbits to chase. My mom tells me to chase them away so hopefully I am doing my job and soon they will find some other backyard to live in. I have my own crate with my “copper” colored blanket from my foster family plus my mom gave me nice, old, soft, blankets to make my crate nice for me. I sleep in my mom’s room in my crate and I even go in my crate when I hear thunder.

I feel so great and excited each morning, I become “fast dog” and run around my house until I find my “baby”. I greet my baby with loving bites until I hear the “baaaaaaa” (my mom calls him my toy sheep) sound and then I give him kisses and start to carry him around. I have also come to patrol the front of my house as I sit in front of the windows. People who walk on the sidewalk in front of my house don’t have permission from me, but my mom says it is OK so I usually have the last word/woof just to let them know who they are dealing with if they come any closer to my house. I usually don’t like people to ring our doorbell but my mom stands with me as I sit to the side of the door and makes me sit and then the people come in and my mom is happy and there is talking and hugging so I guess it is OK and my mom tells me I am a good boy. She tells me I am so smart and such a good boy. I think I am remembering a lot of what I had learned before I came to Superior, so my mom is so proud of me.

I am also lucky because I get to go in the car when my mom picks up my Austin and Kellie from camp. I love it when they get in the car. I am excited, they are excited, and we all get to ride home and I give them kisses. They play ball with me, we go for walks, they scratch my hiny,…….And guess what? I am going on vacation! We are going to NE to see my grandparents and their dog. I love to go in the car so this should be great fun! My mom tells me I will get to be a farm dog and run in the country for our walks. I am so excited! Maybe I will catch a rabbit in NE!

I am so happy with my new family, I smile all the time and wag my tail too! Thank you to everyone who helped me find my new family and home! I really appreciate it and my new family does too. You took good care of me until I found them! Please come visit me in Superior if you are ever nearby! Have a great summer!
