August 14, 2004 and Cody went to his forever home today!! His new family was thrilled. They came prepared to take him
home, a brand new collar and leash, a bright and shiny name tag engraved with his name, also his new address. Cody
jumped right into the vehicle, got into the back seat to ride home with Angie, his new Mom. That’s right up Cody’s alley a nice long snuggle.

Cody was really thrilled when Scott & Angie got here. I think he knew they were coming for him and he was ready to go to his very own forever home.

Cody almost didn’t make this connection with his new family. On an off-leash exercise run last week, he flushed up a rabbit (we think, he wouldn’t say) and he took off with Polly’s Sophie in hot pursuit. Well, they weren’t as smart as they thought, they ran so far, Sophie lost her bearings and they were lost. They managed to get themselves in a cooling tower at the local refinery (1 mile from home) and couldn’t get out. They were found over 24 hours later. Sophie was really mad at Cody, but he wasn’t phased one bit, he was ready to chase a cat when Polly got them home.
