Cheyenne is a spayed female purebred Vizsla approximately 1 ½ year old. She was owner-surrendered due to the owner relocating. She was placed in a home that didn’t work out and then another home which didn’t work out. This was very confusing for Cheyenne. The last owner was going to put her down because she dug up their rose bush. A very kind animal rescue person stepped in and took her and called us. She is extremely sweet and well mannered, but is also very shy. She is housebroken and crate trained . She likes to go in her crate when she is unsure of things.

Lorraine & Marty - Cheyenne is an absolute Treasurer. I can't believe anyone would give her away! My family and I are so pleased to have her as part of our family. Chance, Cheyenne’s new brother, is having a great time with her and they both get along so well. The trip back home from CO was very long, but Cheyenne made it that much more worth it. She is so well behaved and really smart. The only think we need to teach her is not to jump up on you when you're sitting and when she drinks she likes not to lick off the excess just let it drip all over the floor, but we're working on that and she's getting better. She's a great watch dog and Chance and She play rough house but they both are very gentle with each other. I thank my lucky stars that Rita had enough confidence in me to allow me to give Cheyenne a loving home.
I can’t tell you how lucky we are to have found Cheyenne. She is such a wonderful addition to our family, and Chance is having a great time now that he has a playmate and companion to hang out with and share all his toys. As I am writing this they are behind me wrestling; by the end of the day they are exhausted and Cheyenne heads for her bed on her own and ready the next morning to start all over again. She is amazing! She has brought me probably ten sticks, branches, and fallen bark through the doggie door and it amazes me how she gets some of those really long limbs through that small space. She is so smart and all she wants to do is please you.
Rita, I would take five more like her in a minute. Thank you so much for your confidence in believing I would love Cheyenne like you love all your Vizslas. She’s family now and has a special place in our hearts.
