I am happy to
announce that Chesney went home on Dec, 28th 2009.You didn’t know about
Chesney? Well when CWVRG, Inc. gets in a litter of puppies we are pretty
close mouthed about it. Chesney was one of litter of five puppies we got in.
They were 8 weeks old, owner surrendered, hard times had hit the owner
breeder pretty hard and he decided that he couldn’t afford to feed this
litter, so he contacted us to take them. Angelica and her family, husband
Larry, and 3 children are not new to rescue dogs, but are new to Vizslas.
Angelica and Larry did research the breed carefully, and had a good idea of
what to expect. While visiting with them Angelica mentioned that they had
never owned a puppy, their other dogs were young adults when they adopted
them, so the adoption team gave them the happy news that they could adopt a
happy, healthy V puppy. Angelica and Larry were thrilled and they drove out
to KS to meet and adopt Chesney. They even gave the other 4 puppies a ride
to CO, where they had homes waiting.
