Cayenne prefers to go by Princess Cayenne. She is an adorable little girl with a very strong will. She loves to play and loves to eat! She likes to get into mischief too! Cayenne was adopted by a wonderful couple from Greeley, Lee and Karen. When they came to pick Cayenne up she ran out to greet them and then Karen sat in the back seat with Cayenne’s crate the whole drive home. It was a very sweet sight.

Here is an update from Karen…I thought you might be curious as to how Cayenne is doing. Friday night she whined a little (We are keeping her in the laundry room at night - it has a linoleum floor.) Every time she made noise, I went over to her to show her everything was OK. She slept until 5:00 AM. She got the wood fence down (she is very strong and determined) and came into our bedroom (after leaving her calling card on the rug). I fed her, let her outside and then brought her into bed with us. She played a while and then fell asleep. We took her to PetsMart and got her a collar, leash, food, treats and toys. She was nervous at first in the car (I guess she thought she was going to the vet or to a new home.) She settled in and played with her new toys.

Saturday afternoon we brought her to our friends' home to visit with their dogs - a Westie and a Jack Russell terrier. She played with them and had a wonderful time in their backyard. She is very well adjusted and socialized.

When we got home she went right to her crate and slept the whole night through...until 5:00 AM. I fed her, let her out and brought her into bed. She played a little and then fell sound asleep and slept for 3 hours. I think we tired her out on Saturday.

She is such a joy! Lee and I want to thank both of you for such a wonderful dog. We have already started the process of spoiling her. Oh, 3 of my cats are in seclusion upstairs, but one, Sushi, is not afraid and Cayenne even started washing her.

This afternoon, Cayenne and Lee were on the sofa together watching a Red Sox game. Both were sleeping. It was so cute. She is so precious. We look forward to the reunion to meet her brothers and sisters and for you to see her - Karen
