Boone is a purebred Vizsla, approximately 4 months old. He came to us through an unlikely source. A local shelter manager called and told me she had a purebred V puppy and needed to find a home for him. She had been looking for a V puppy for herself and found one in a shelter in IL. She made arrangements to drive to IL to pick up her new puppy and there was Boone. His tail is undocked because the “breeder” felt he wasn’t worth it due to large white spot on his chest. Boone was in an independent all breed rescue shelter where all the dogs were allowed to run free. This didn’t give a puppy a very good chance. His rescuer saw the conditions he was in and couldn’t leave him there so she brought him home.

His rescuer had a small breed mix in the home and Boone was just too overbearing for this little dog, so it was decided that he should come into V rescue where we could find the perfect home for him.

On March 3^rd Jen and her husband and son came to meet Boone at his foster home. It was love at first sight, on both sides. Boone has his own family now, mom & dad & 2 children to play with him and spoil him. Another happy ending - Rita
