Bodi Rez was owner surrendered at the age of 14 weeks with his brother Wally
(see Wallys success story for details).
Here is Bodis story as told by his new owners, Garret & Heather - We got
the new Red one as a playmate for Aggie who had a bad case of separation
anxiety.
The children call the new pup Rez (Red in Hungarian) and my wife and I call
him Bodi. He has easily learned both. He has two names like our other V
"Aggie (Mae)". We're not even from the south. Bodi Rez has settled into his
new home consisting of me, my wife Heather, the 12 year old Taylor, 10 mo
old baby Ryah, Aggie and Zinger the Cat. He has done quite well with Ryah.
We started him off right, allowing him to lay on the couch, sleep in bed
with us, you know, all the good stuff. However, I've never heard a dog snore
as loud as he does. Heather has actually had to go to the spare room because
he snores so loud. (maybe it was the combination of the dog and me snoring)
Rez Bodi and Aggie go out daily and chase birds in the south 40 behind our
house or head to the dog park daily. Rez Bodi is learning his instincts of
pointing quite well as he observes Aggie. We spend at least 2 hours outside
every day (weather permitting). He does training every day also and is
learning his e-collar. He's a little more stubborn though. He plays well
with other dogs at the dog park, but for some reason always wants to play
with the dogs that are 5x his size.
Bodi Rez has been a great addition to our home and a great playmate for
Aggie. He is just now starting to learn the patented V lean. We are thrilled
to have him as a member of our family. - Garret
