Bella was a stray and picked
up by a dog friend. Our rescue was contacted and we picked her up and
brought her into our rescue system on April 28th, 2005. She was estimated to
be about 7 months old. We determined that she was probably a Vizsla/Redbone
Coonhound mix. She is very sweet natured and loves to play and snuggle. She
also has a lot of energy and likes to chew. She was looking for a home with
a lot of action to keep her entertained and that's exactly what she got!
Bella was adopted by Donna and her wonderful family. Bella now has 4 human
children to play with along with a canine sister named JJ, and a couple of
feline siblings. Not sure if the kitties were as excited as the rest of the
family. JJ and Bella love to play tug and wrestle. They just started getting
to the point where they can take breaks and lay next to each other without
having to play constantly. Bella has already been on a family trip and is
doing better in the car. Her new family has worked hard at helping her with
the housebreaking and it looks like she is now getting the hang of it. Bella
has gained some weight as she is growing up and is also growing into her
coonhound "Baay". She still thinks the cats in the family are there for her
to chase, but they have learned to run faster and stay on the other side of
the baby gates! Bella is definitely happy with her new family and it is
quite obvious that she is very well loved. Fostered by McCluskeys and
