Winston II

May 23, 2008 – June 13, 2008

Winston was a purebred, 9 month old Vizsla that was owner-surrendered to rescue. He didn’t even have a name when he came into rescue, but because of his sweet nature and playfulness we named him Winston. He came into rescue with a health issue which Dr Hasch tried to correct, but there was just no sure cure for Winston. It had to do with his intestines; rectal prolapse. No surgery was possible to correct the birth defect. On the advice of Dr Hasch Winston was sent to the rainbow bridge, I was not there, not because I didn’t care, but because I cared too much. I said my good-byes and left. It proves that the saying is correct, the good die young. Run free Winston, see you at the bridge!
