Tully fka Marlee

May 29, 2008 – April 2010

Tully was a 4 month old puppy that came to us from Kansas along with four of her littermates. She was adopted by Kathleen & Andy. Kathleen writes: Tully is a wonderful part of our family and we love her. Thanks for making this possible for us! - Kathleen
Unfortunately Kathleen & her family lost Tully unexpectedly for such a young dog. Kathleen says it is hard for our family to have lost such a wonderful animal after only 2 years. It was our first dog as a family. We were lucky, however, to have had her in our lives while we did.

We called her “Happy Butt” sometimes because she was so glad to meet one of us at the door when we came in from outside. Her whole back half of her body to her tail would wag. Tully would give a happy howl also to say hello. She was a loving, sweet dog that would always want to curl up next to us. We have many photos of our son John and Tully curled up on the floor taking naps together in the sunshine. We also remember the many walks around the house, going to the bus stop with John and of course the camping trips.

We got her from the CWVRG in May of 2008 at 16 weeks old. She came from a litter of 4 from Kansas. Dana was fostering her and can remember her “martini” that she would carry around in her mouth. She just wanted to play all the time and became quite the expert at fetch. She sure was a handful for a while but was just mellowing nicely when she became very sick. We are very fortunate to have had Tully and want to thank Rita and Dana for giving us a wonderful 2 years with her.

We will miss Happy Butt. Goodbye Tully Girl. – Kathleen, Andy & John.
