Ian

Ian, a purebred Vizsla, and his life mate, Ezmi, a purebred Weimaraner, were surrendered by their owner after a divorce and the family just giving up on them. Ezmi was placed with an amazing volunteer with Weimaraner rescue, and Ian came home with us. The first night was very hard on our little man as his mouth had about 20 abscessed teeth, but have no fear, Ian wagged his tail and took all the love that could he soaked up. He bonded with Troy very quickly and Ian spent most of the next few days as a lap dog. Ian grabbed our hearts and we imagined how silly he must have been in his younger years. With the concerns over his infections, we took Ian to the vet and a collective decision was made to allow him to cross the rainbow Bridge and meet his buddy, Ezmi who was at a different vet meeting being helped over the Rainbow Bridge. So as we shed tears for them, we know that the true love they had for each other will erase the heart ache and loneliness that they had been subject to. - Melody
