Profile:

Sweet Pea is a purebred, spayed, 1 yr old Vizsla who was surrendered to the local shelter by her owner. She was purchased from a local pet store as a pup. The owner did not realize the energy level of the Vizsla. Sweet Pea got bored and became destructive.

Day 3 with her foster care giver, and she is already settled in.  She can finally run with 2 other dogs on 2 fenced acres. She is good in the house, no accidents, no chewing.  She uses the dog toys in the dog toy box, and loves to play.  She is so happy now.

She needs to learn some manners and is ready for gentle obedience training.  She is smart, and eager to please, and very relieved to be in a home that understands her needs. 

She travels nicely in the car. She has not destroyed anything in my house or car.

She is large for a female, and very, very strong.  She should be chaperoned around children, no dog should be left alone with children. She needs to learn how to behave around children. She, like most Vizslas like to jump up on people.

I am so happy I was able to get her out of the shelter.  Someone will be quite pleased with her, if they don't mind a female on the large size. -  Alyssa
