GENNY'S PROFILE

Profile:

My name is Genny, and I really like it in my foster home, but it is time for me to have my very own family. I am a Vizsla/Brittany mix, but I am not bouncy off the wall like a Brittany, I am more like a Vizsla. The vet says I am about 4 yrs old.

I have a lot of Vizslas to play with at my foster home and they have cats too. I could do without the cats though. I like to chew on Nylabones, and the dog beds in front of the wood stove are so nice and comfy and warm. My foster mom does not let me get in her lap unless she invites me first. Sure a lot of things to learn here. I really love daily walks. I walk on a leash very well. When large vehicles pass by, the noise does startle me. I love to meet new dogs and initiate play! I am not aggressive, but more submissive.

I have learned that my crate is a very nice comfy place and where I get to eat. I also get a dog cookie after I eat and when I go to bed. I am housebroken, which means I do my business outside as far away from the house as possible. I am not a counter surfer or a fence jumper. I smile, but you have to look real hard to catch it. I am still a little shy around strangers and sudden hand movements, and men. I am a very quick learner. Given a little time and patience I will learn to trust people again. My foster mom says I am a real sweet dog. I would prefer a home with another buddy to play with.

Are you the home I am looking for? Please fill out an adoption application and come and meet me. - Genny
