All rescue animals placed will be neutered/spayed and will be current on rabies vaccinations.

Profile:

Buddy Jr fka Buddy was surrendered to our rescue group by his owner in order for him to be placed in a better home. His owner did not have the time to devote to Buddy. Buddy Jr is a 3 yr old purebred Vizsla. He is neutered, house broken, and crate trained. Currently he needs to gain about 5# and we are working on that.

Report by Buddy Jr’s foster care giver: I thought while I had some time I would submit a report on my buddy, Buddy. Even as we speak he's out helping my wife in the garden. One of his favorite things to do is bite at the water coming out of the garden hose. He knows what squirrels were put on this earth for…..to chase. He also likes to chase tennis balls. He'll bring the ball to you and drop it, there's no fight in getting it away from him. A favorite pastime is chasing sun spots on the wall or ceiling of a room. He gets along with our daughter's two males well; was friendly toward our grandson. He doesn't have any reservations concerning strangers.

The first day he was here, I was able to let him off lead; the last male foster we had took about 6 weeks to get to that point. It seems that he has adjusted to our household routine faster than any of the other fosters we've had. He is obedient; goes in a crate at night; likes to be part of the family. He can be left in the house free without any concern of his getting into something he shouldn't. The last male foster never got to that point while here. He is a pleasure to have around and will be a great addition to some family who will have time for him and love him. - Jerry
